Wedding Tips for Brides on a Budget
Seven tips that will work for mail order brides, russian brides, latin brides or whether you have to make wedding gowns for seven brides for seven brothers. An army of brides will benefit from these tips and if you are a bride planning a wedding on a budget, it’s worth its weight in gold.
Brides let your mouse do the driving - it’s a lot easier, requires no high-price gas trips back and forth, is quicker and less stressful to shop online for your wedding dress. Also, it allows you to see many more styles in a much shorter time frame.
Davids can beat Goliaths online when shopping for your bridal wear, especially if you are looking for a small gown like size 0. Apparently, some large online wedding stores cannot custom-fit elegant wedding gowns in size 0 so small, personalized service wins when it comes to tailoring your wedding dress.
Beware of wedding stores that will ask you to buy a size 2 and then ask you to try to down-size or alter your wedding dress to size 0 as this will be disastrous. It is more time-consuming and difficult to alter than it is to sew from an originally measured pattern draft.
Always go for an online wedding dress store that provides a measurement chart so that you can enter your measurements for sizing, especially if you are a petite or plus-size person that needs a wedding dress.
Give yourself at least 2-months to search for possible online shops and about 6-weeks for the seamstress to custom-fit your dress and deliver it to you, preferably free of a shipping charge. Foreign brides should inquire directly at the wedding dress shop as shipping international fees may apply.
Always choose an online wedding dress store that provides a contact form for you to ask detailed questions online about a potential wedding dress.
Shop at a house of brides that can bundle brides maid dresses with your brides dresses as this saves you money, time and it ensures that everyone gets fitted by the same seamstress and your colors are coordinated.

I am no size 0 but I can tell you that in March this year I needed a wedding dress in size 22. Irene at Kekopeanstitches was very personable and helpful. She answered all my questions promptly and delivered a perfect fitting dress on time and free of shipping charge.
I would recommend this small personalized wedding dress service to any plus sized woman … Thanks Irene for all your help.

Unlike Olivia I am a size 1 but I have a very similar experience with the service that was offered by Irene she directed me to the form to submit my exact measurements for a fit that was to die for, my wedding dress fit me like a glove. None of my friends could believe that I didn’t go in person to have it fitted. That’s how good these folks are are sewing, it’s a designer wedding dress at an affordable price. Just like Olivia I was thrilled with the outcome.
Recommended with thanks!
